I get there then order my meal & drink. I had a to wait 5 minutes for the beer. Liquor laws in Ontario make it illegal to serve alcohol before 11am.

What time do beer stores open then?

here in quebec we have beer at our groceries stores, gas stations, corner stores. Basically every where but Walmart and Canadian tire.

.The LCBO & beer store open at 10am. Just this year grocery stores can sell alcohol, but not later then 11pm (start selling it at 10am).

I love those places - they’re usually friendly, and the food is good. It doesn’t need to be great, especially for breakfast.

For that big plate of food, and a pint, $16 CAD with tax and tip is a NP, all day, every day.

It’s great there. I go in, the servers know me by name. I don’t even need a menu, they just check that I’m I’m getting my usual.
